A dove represents peace and hope and for those suffering from domestic violence it can be the light they need in their lives.  
My cousin was murdered by her boyfriend last year on Thanksgiving. A time when family comes together, but this year she will not be at the table. This painting is to honor her. The proceeds from the sale of this piece of art will go to a domestic violence shelter called D.O.V.E.S
 
Doves is a 24/7 emergency safe shelter that provides Emergency and Interpersonal Protective Orders after hours in our community.
Their main goal is to provide safe shelter for those in need and help them transition back into society.
